About

I grew up in California and Texas and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. At the age of 19, I chose to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was called to serve for two years in St. Petersburg, Russia. Those two years had a profound effect on me and greatly enhanced my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the importance of the Savior in my life.

At the conclusion of my missionary service, I returned to BYU where I met my wife and finished my degree in finance. Upon graduation, we moved to Michigan and then to Texas (back where I attended high school). Our last move was back to Utah, where I never thought I would live and raise my family. However, I am grateful to live at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Utah and raise my 6 children here with my beautiful wife.

My family is the most important thing in my life. With 6 kids, much of my free time is spent on them and their activities. Additionally, I enjoy triathlons (the sprint variety that don’t overtake my whole life), ATVing, golfing, fishing and mostly just being outdoors. I do most of my activities with my wife or some of the kids, even though it means that they end up being better at it than me!
